Every once in a while I like to bring models in so I can try something new. This beautiful expectant mom was the perfect model. I couldn’t be happier with how these turned out.

I have had several newborns in the studio lately and they have been soooo good!
Oliver was the perfect little man. He was such a little peanut.
Dancers, if you did not receive the letter explaining the packages with your envelopes please let me know and I will email you a copy.
I had so much fun photographing this little peanuts newborn session. I love it when the family brings in props to use. Savanna’s daddy is a firefighter so they brought in his gear to incorporate into her session. It was a battle getting the shot with her in his helmet but with some photoshop magic I think it turned out pretty cute!
Once we got her to sleep she was a breeze to photograph. Mommy took my advise and kept her a wake for 2 hours before the session. Once we got her tummy full she was out cold.
I love my new wooden bowl prop for newborns!
Have I said how much I love my job lately? How could I not love it when I am surrounded by such adorable little munchkins.
I adore these two and am so honored to be able to do both of their Babies First Year sessions. They both have the most gorgeous eyes! I have never seen such long eyelashes as Miss Amyla has. I can’t imagine when she is older and adds mascara to them.
I am in newborn heaven right now. I have had three of the cutest newborns in lately and get to photograph another one tomorrow.
I am so busy trying to get everything edited before my crazy dance season starts. Hoping to get everything caught up before next week.
Working on this sweet little girls pictures now. I managed to get a couple shots of her sleeping but then she woke up and refused to go back to sleep. We even brought her back another day hoping to get the cute sleepy baby poses. Well guess what, that didn’t work either. I think she was afraid she was going to miss out on something. She was so good though and we still managed to capture some adorable pictures of her.
Here are a couple of my favorites so far.
Can you tell these two are related. Her cousin was in a couple weeks ago and also did not want to sleep a wink for her newborn portraits. Such curious little girls. How fun it will be for them to grow up with each other.
Congratulations to our March Giving Back Winner…Tara Thielen! She has one a free session along with a complimentary 8×10 portrait.
