The Phelps Children / Lonsdale Family Portraits

I have a few clients who have been with me for years and I have had the honor of watching their children grow.  This family is one of them.  I absolutely love these kiddos.  They are always dressed so darn cute!

I photographed this session with a new lens I purchased.  I am in love with the  bokeh (aka…blurry background)!  Of course having super cute models that did anything I wanted doesn’t hurt!

Monitor Calibration Issues

For all my customers that are waiting on viewing their pictures, I am just a little behind.  I spent 3 days trying to figure out what was wrong with my monitor calibration software.  After 2 hours on the phone with the company today we were able to finally calibrate my monitor but still don’t know why the program won’t work consistently for me.  I had to put off editing pictures until this was fixed.  I didn’t want to edit them thinking they looked one way and then after my monitor was fixed having them look completely different.  I am finally able to start editing today so I will work as quickly as possible to get these turned around.  Thank-you for understanding.

Outdoor portrait session / Lonsdale child photographer

I am busy editing this adorable session this evening and am obsessed with these two beautiful little girls.  I have to share a few of my favorites so far, even though I know I will have many more favorites by the time I am done editing their session.

Northfield Newborn / Miss Stella

This little peanut came in to see me at a month old.  This is normally much older then I usually photograph newborns.  But even at a month old she still only weighs in at 6.5 pounds.  After we got that belly full she was the perfect little angel.

Outdoor Maternity Session ~ Beautiful Waconia Mom

Every once in a while I like to bring models in so I can try something new.  This beautiful expectant mom was the perfect model.  I couldn’t be happier with how these turned out.

Newborn Heaven / Oliver Lonsdale newborn

I have had several newborns in the studio lately and they have been soooo good!

Oliver was the perfect little man.  He was such a little peanut.

Northfield Family Portraits

I had an absolutely amazing session this evening.  So in love with their images.  They are so ridiculously gorgeous and their clothes were to die for.

Had to share just one from their session.

Savanna / Shakopee Newborn Portraits

I had so much fun photographing this little peanuts newborn session.  I love it when the family brings in props to use.  Savanna’s daddy is a firefighter so they brought in his gear to incorporate into her session.  It was a battle getting the shot with her in his helmet but with some photoshop magic I think it turned out pretty cute!
Once we got her to sleep she was a breeze to photograph.  Mommy took my advise and kept her a wake for 2 hours before the session.  Once we got her tummy full she was out cold.img_6552bw img_6565 img_6579 img_6589bw img_6592 img_6603 img_6606 img_6610 img_6614 img_6615 img_6615softbw img_6627 img_6627aoftbw img_6629 img_6630 img_6634 img_6635
